About Me

Biography

AnnaLisa Hutchinson was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, to Jamaican and Panamanian parents. Growing up in a diverse area with a multicultural background allowed AnnaLisa to develop a passion for food, cooking, and culinary fusion from a young age. Some of her fondest childhood memories were watching Food Network icons with her family.

After graduating high school in 2021, AnnaLisa decided to continue her education at the University of Georgia as part of their Honors College. AnnaLisa desired to find a career path that would allow her to help people discover the root of their health issues and truly heal, and found the career path of dietetics.

AnnaLisa is currently a senior dietetics student with a minor in Culinary Science and Nutrition, with plans to graduate in December 2024.

AnnaLisa has had incredible opportunities to gain hands-on experience in nutrition and culinary education. She has interned at an integrated wellness club called Lake Nona Performance Club and had the privilege of working alongside Michelin-rated and James Beard Award-nominated chefs at a seed-to-table establishment called Edible Education Experience. She works for the University of Georgia’s Olympic Sports Nutrition team as a student assistant, as a freshman small group leader for the Wesley campus ministry, and as the Secretary of the Student Dietetic Association.

Outside of all things nutrition and cooking, AnnaLisa loves to spend time at her church, relaxing with her family, friends, and dog, Milo, reading, and discovering new music.

As a future registered dietitian, AnnaLisa hopes to bridge the gap between conventional medicine, holistic nutrition, and diversity in dietetics by becoming a functional and integrative dietitian.
