Fix You (Part II): A *Very Late* Poetic Series

Hey, friend! I hope you’re having a great day! If you didn’t have a chance, I wrote a blog post *several* weeks (more like months) ago called “Fix You” where I talked about how we often try to fix one another’s problems instead of just being there to listen. And well, I meant to post the second part a week after that first post but, honestly, I just never got to it. So anyways, here it is now!

Sometimes we just need someone to hold us and listen to us without judgment. Sometimes, what we need is for that person in our life to just be. It’s the human nature in us that tells us we need to fix everything around us. But that’s not always what we need. Most times we just need healing. God understands this. God is more than sufficient and will meet you right where you are in a way that is best to reach you.

He didn’t come to judge, but to save.

“If anyone hears my words and doesn’t keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.”

John 12:47 (CSB)
Fix You (Part II)
Fix you?
No, I have something better.
Free of judgment,
no condemnation.

I hear you.
Your vocalized pain,
internalized shame.

I hear.
I see.
I know.
All of you.

They may not have listened.
Nor heard, nor seen.
The orchestration of pain,
a silent resonance in vain.

But I am here,
so let go of your fears.
For I am near,
and I Am.

Fix you?
No, I have something better.
My child, you are free.
My child, you are healed.
